Passive Chilled Beams

Frenger's Passive chilled beams were the chosen solution; however the client required that the ceiling appear as "normal" as possible. Large perforations with an excessive free area were ruled out at an early stage.

By utilising our unique radiant/convective Chilled Beam Technology through our Passive Chilled Beam we were able to meet project cooling requirements with a 28% free area ceiling perforated with 2.4mm holes.

Furthermore, the Chilled Beam System was tested to determine that air velocities compiled with ISO:7730 for comfort conditions.
