Frenger Supplies Eco Active Chilled Beams to 510 Church Street in Cremorne, Melbourne
Frenger are proud to have recently supplied the 510 Church Street commercial office building in Cremorne, Melbourne with their state-of-the-art energy-efficient Eco Active Chilled Beams.
The new world class A-Grade office asset comprises of ten levels of commercial office space with an NLA (Net Lettable Area) of 20,000 square metres. The building was designed to achieve the five-star Greenstar Design and as-built 4.5 NABERS Energy (base build) target.
The project, financed by Merricks Capital, will near completion mid-2021. Frenger's range of Eco Active Chilled Beams were selected for this 'smart' building, which integrates different technological processes to create a facility that is safer, more comfortable, and productive for occupants, helping to make it more operationally efficient for its owners.
The $240 million end value office tower features ground floor retail, sky gardens, outdoor green terraces, two levels of basement parking, premium end-of-trip facilities, and sweeping views over the Melbourne central business district and wider sporting precinct.
Eco Active Chilled Beams
As with all of Frenger's Active Chilled Beams, the Eco Active Chilled Beams supplied to 510 Church Street contained the patented performance enhancing "burst nozzle" arrangement. This feature not only encourages induction, but also provides reduce noise levels from the beam. The burst nozzles help to provide consistent jet velocities, with an equal distribution of air discharge and continuous induction through the entire length of the heat exchanger battery for optimum heating and cooling performance.
